APPCOR heavy duty direct drive mixers use a 2-bearing system for shaft support, assuring long mixer life under continuous operating conditions. Our 3/4” diameter shafts are more rugged than the industry standard 1/2”.

Mounting systems include adjustable clamp, adjustable cup/ fixed base (the most often installed), and pedestal base for permanent installation on beams.

All APPCOR shafts and 1.5 pitch marine type propellers are type 316 stainless steel. For applications where stainless is not suitable, elastomeric coated wetted parts are available.

1750 RPM or 1170 RPM TEFC motors are standard. Explosion proof, variable speed or air drive motors can also be furnished. We use cast electrical junction boxes instead of light gauge stamped boxes. Single phase TEFC motors up to 3/4 horsepower are optionally available with on-off toggle switch and plug-in cord.

Direct drive mixers are a relatively simple machine. Even so, APPCOR mixers incorporate features which make them the most dependable in industry.
