If it is felt that a ¼” purge valve, as provided with the S875 guard, might not be large enough to clear accumulated solids from the guard and associated inlet piping, use the “BETTER” S1025 with a ¾” purge connection. Process connection options are ¾” to 1¼”, instrument connections ¼” or ½”.
