The SR1050 slurry guard is our “BEST” and will work every time to insure accurate gauge operation. Developed when magnetite repeatedly plugged process connections to S1025 guards in a heavy media coal washing plant, the SR1050 incorporates both a ¾” purge valve and a reamer to remove solids from the inlet connection and guard body. Standard stroke of the reamer will clean out a 6” length inlet connection. Normal operation of the guard is with the reamer retracted. Process connections are ¾” to 1¼”, gauge connections are ¼” or ½”.
